I love going out in public with others and I am becoming more and more comfortable on my own doing everyday kinds of things. You just have to overcome the unfounded, untrue, false demons in your head holding you back. Shopping at places like Janet's closet where staff make you feel so welcome you definitely want to come back. The face mask rules make going out even easier since with your face covered no one who only knows you as a male would not recognize you which is what I use if I am in a familiar place closer to home.
