I have been a closeted CD most of my life starting when I was very young. I would take stockings from my father's store and explore my mother's closet. It seems throughout my life there were situations like a female next door neighbor that liked to do my nails for fun, or a girl friend that I had in college that liked to dress me in her clothes and do my makeup. I absolutely love to dress as a woman and see how close I can get.Its always an on-going challenge...kind of a fun and sexy hobby really. I do a very good job with make-up and love the smokey eye look. I keep my nails slightly longer but well shaped so I can apply polish and have them look pretty good. I always use 2 coats of color and one coat of clear for a professional look. By the way, I always do my wife's nails...she loves it.

I have been married for close to 40 years and my wife is fully aware of my dressing desires. I have my own clothes now including breast forms, some great heels and wig. I feel that I have an eye for fashion and enjoy studying photos of beautiful women for ideas. Along time ago I found that I study and stare at women not really wanting to have sex with them ( although I am attracted to some) but wanting to 'look like them'. Sexually, I suppose that I could be considered a lesbian when I'm dressed but realistically I'm probably bi. As is common, from time to time I have purged my clothing collection and have always kicked myself later.

Am I passable...no probably not unless you've had a few more martinis that I and you squint your eyes. I do have great legs though ( at least my wife thinks so). More on her before I close. She knows everything, but does not really take an active roll in my dressing. We have gone shopping from time to time and she makes the purchase for me but I think we both appreciate mail-order more. Janet's is great. I wish I lived closer for make-overs. Their selection is good and the prices are very good. Well good-bye for now. " title="Smile" />

Hi Lisa

Yours is a very interesting story and you are lucky to have an open relationship with your wife. I have been divorced for over 8 years and have been getting braver each year about making purchases and trying to find friends. Still very closeted though as friends and family would not understand. I too consider myself a crossdressing lesbian and still looking forward to my first relationship. It seems very hard to find mature over 5O crossdressers who are willing to help a closeted sister along and those interested in a lesbin relationship. Although am very close to Janets and want to go there ,last time i was in got no help once so ever from anyone there,it was saturday afternoon and the girl working was more concerned about getting mail order ready for mailman who walked in as i left afte 5 minutes and no contact at all with staff,not even a hello.
