I like the shorter bob styles myself, like the one you picked.
I have four wigs. Two long and two shoulder length and all straight hair. I just really like straight hair over the curls. The straight hair seems to look better on me. I envy the gurls who can pull off curls....I cannot.
The longer hair is definitely more to manage and take care of and I always seem to have snags and split ends no matter how much I brush. Oh well......
I really like the style you selected and the color is awesome. I hope now that you have had it awhile, you like it even more than when you got it.
