Well the shopping and brunch went extremely well with my mother yesterday. She didn't let me pay for anything. I ended up with a very nice lbd, matching pumps and accessories, and a deep purple wool knit dress. Mom said she wants to make up for lost time. But I keep waiting for it all to blow up in my face. But I hope it doesn't,after all a girl does need her mother.It hasn't been all roses for me though. I informed my father's family and their reaction so far has been typical deep south closed mindedness. So I guess they won't attend my wedding ( if my boyfriend ever proposes). I found a good therapist, I'll start seeing her next Monday. So now my journey begins in earnest now. I can't wait to see how all this goes. I'll keep all here posted.
