I married at 22. My wife was 20. I had stopped dressing before high school and had not missed. But something about my wife's lingerie turned me to dressing again. When I could I wore her bras and slips. I did not buy my own clothes until I was 30. I did not tell my wife . I continued dressing and in 1987 decided to seek counseling to see if I was normal or what. My female counselor was understanding and we had several sessions. I brought up the issue of should I tell my wife. It was my decision. In January 1988, I told my wife that I had been a cross dresser. She did not blow up but did not approve. She agreed to go with me to the counselor. She went once and we discussed it with the counselor. I stopped dressing for 9 months and did not miss it . However late in 1988, I was encountering stress in my job and begin dressing again and it felt good. It was relaxing. My wife did not know although we never discussed it again. I continued to dress until 1994 and stopped again. We divorced in 1997 but not because of my desire to be feminine or wearing lingerie. I begin dressing again in late 1998 and haven't stopped except for times when my schedule would not permit it. I married again in 2008 and stopped for about 3 years. I started again in 2012 and have continued since then. I enjoy being and feeling feminine and submissive. I am more attracted to men and want to engage in sex with a man. The conclusion is I wished I had not told my first wife at all. It was not worth it. If you have a supportive spouse or friend, you may have a better experience.
