Tentative transition timeline
#21
Hey sis, yep, I plan on doing all of that. I still have to finalize things with my medical folks; and they may have other suggestions that are closer. I have pretty much ruled out full SRS. Just too much, before, during, and after surgery. If I was much younger, then absolutely. But not now, not at my age. I just want to get it done to get them out of the way so hormones are better and clothes fit better. How embarrassing to bee-bop out of the surf at the beach and find out your bikini bottoms have shifted a bit! Love ya, Michelle Heart Heart

Okay, here's an update ladies. I had my 3rd laser treatment today, set on 16. I have two more to do, one at the end of April and the other at the end of May. After that, whatever hair is left will have to go via electrolysis. More painful I understand, but what man wants to kiss a woman's neck and feel stubble, or suck a woman's nipples and feel hair, or caress a woman's breasts and feel stubble. The woman that did it was so nice. She and I talked about boob jobs (she has one and looks fantastic), men (what don't two women talk about!), and our kids. I just feel so much more comfortable each day, and each time I meet someone new, and just talking with other women about female things. Well, love you all, Michelle Heart Heart

Okay, last of the laser hair removal on my face and torso is done. All the non-grey hair is done and gone. Now to start electrolysis for my face next week. And, assuming I can get my Orchiectomy done early this summer, as soon as that heals, they will start laser on my pubic area. I asked, and they have no problems doing it. Apparently, they do not have the laser set as high when they are working downstairs. I mean the discomfort of having my face zapped; I can imagine what that would feel like on the side of my 'clit'..... Love, Michelle Heart Heart

Sounds like all is going/has gone well for you with the laser.   Do share your experience with the electrolysis as I will be needing that too.

On May 22nd I am scheduled for laser session #7 for my face/neck.  But prior to that I am going to the tech with several days of beard growth so they can evaluate me.  I still see dark hairs on the moustache area, corners of my mouth and below lower lip, but from else I do see, the rest looks white.  So I think they will just do final treatments around mouth to get those remaining dark hairs but it will be on to electrolysis for the rest.   I'm also having laser #5 for chest but also starting with #1 for abdomen and bikini area.

Okay ladies, time to sit down so you don't fall down laughing. In my area there is a MeetUp group for DC area transwomen. We have social meetings, night's out, etc. I just invited my ex-wife to the next one. She declined - "I'll pass. Thanks lol". And she has never asked the question most SO's usually ask - "have you ever worn any of my clothes?" Love ya, Michelle Heart Heart

Would you have wanted to wear her clothes...or do you have better taste?

Truth be told, she didn't exactly have the sexiest looking clothes. Kinda drab and mainly pants, as in jeans. And her underwear wouldn't even be considered lingerie. I bought her a pure silk pajama set and pure silk chemise and I think she may have worn them a couple of times. Pure silk! what woman doesn't want silk on her body. Oh well. But I wish I had those two things.... Love, Michelle Heart Heart

Okay, another appointment with the therapist today. This one to go through some questionnaires (tests) in order for her to write my Letter of Recommendation. These are pretty standard tests apparently. But I pretty much ace'd them. No, it isn't that I am 99-44/100% female, it's that they were pretty generically straightforward. At least to me. So, she is going to talk to my hormone specialist this Thursday and then write the letter. And then it will be off to see a doctor about the 'snip, snip, oh what a relief it is'....

Oh, by the way, my boys were with me, and they got to see the real me fully dressed. And they sat with me for some pictures that my mother took. I'd post them, but since they are minors, I'm thinking it would not be appropriate.

Well, off to bed, another day, another adventure... Love, Michelle Heart Heart

It's cool that you had your fam with you. Honestly, I think my 30 y/o psychologist daughter and 34 y/o physician asst daughter would be OK with me dressing, but I'm still pondering when and if to tell them. As I may have posted, my wife and I are working through me dressing during our retirement years right now, so I am in a state of flux but OK.

BTW, my PA daughter specializes in urology, and once said that orchiectomy reduces the risk of prostate Ca! (

Yep, less risk of prostate issues and helps the Estrogen do it's job better and faster. It's a win, win, win, hell yeah win situation. Love, Michelle Heart Heart
