Going out Friday 10/12

Looking for recommendations.  I'm thinking of going out for one of the first times in the Detroit area on Friday night. What's the best option?  GiGi's, Adam's Apple or some thing else?  

What would you recommend wearing to not completely standout in a bad way? 

Is anyone else going out Friday night?

This is of course assuming I don't chicken out.

I definitely don't have the makeup thing down yet either. I'm actually hoping to get a makeup makeover at Janet's on Friday, otherwise I would not venture outside. Sadly this girl needs all the help she can get with makeup.
