Little black dress

Hi - I am on older gal in her late fifties. I have been asked to go to a fancy restaurant by this guy and was wondering what your thoughts were on someone my age wearing a little black dress? I am 5'7" and around 150 lbs. I have a lbd that I have not worn for awhile that is about 2" above the knee. I would like to wear this dress with some open toed pumps but just want to make sure I still am dressing appropriately for my age. Your thoughts?

Hi all - the forum seems to be pretty quiet lately so I thought I would let you know how my date went. I bought black "ring" dress at Janets for the occasion. It was perfect! We went to a really nice restaurant and did a little dancing. He kept telling me how nice I looked! We had a very nice evening.
