Leslie, after you have opened up a reply window, you will see towards the bottom of the page a red banner labeled "Attachments". Beneath that is the attachment window. Click on the browse button and it will open up a new pop-up window to your computer that allows you to select an attachment such as a word doc or a picture. Word of warning....the picture must be 500 kb or less. If you attempt to select a picture with more than 500 kb, the wonderful admins to this forum decided it would be great if you lost everything you typed and you have to start all over.
