For years I have gone to this website looking for all sorts of old reference material, books, software code, software programs, reference books for the kids, etc. The other day I came across this collection (https://archive.org/details/digitaltransgenderarchive?&sort=-downloads&page=5). Tonight I was browsing through it looking to see what was there, and came across this magazine from 1985 (https://archive.org/details/tvtstapestry47unse/mode/2up) that had an article on hormones. So I figured I'd read it. No sooner did I finish the article when I came across someone I knew.....

I was working for a 'very big' computer company in the mid-80s, and worked with a guy (at the time) that started transitioning. Frankly, at the time, I wasn't interested and was kinda like 'okay, if that's what he wants'.... But she is there on page 39! I wonder what she is up to now? Love ya, Michelle

Thanks Michelle.  I downloaded the magazine for a future read.  It will be interesting to read about people's perspectives from that time.  I have a feeling it will all sound the same as if it was published today.  Was your friend Cheryl Ann Costa?
